Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bob Kapeller Memorial Tournament was held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Big League Dreams Sports Park in Perris, CA. \u00a0This event, hosted by Menifee Valley Upper Division Senior Softball, honored the disabled veterans and members of our armed forces (both past and present) for their service, dedication, and sacrifices for our country.<\/p>\n

This year, profits will go to the “4 Paws 4 Patriots” charity which provides service dogs training and equipment for disabled American veterans.<\/p>\n

Over 300 players, family, and friends attended this year’s festivities.
\n32 softball games and a 50-50 raffle were all part of the day’s activities.<\/p>\n

Tournament Games
\n<\/span>20 teams competed in the six-division round-robin\/single-elimination tournament.<\/p>\n

The division champions were:
\n60 Division – Pony\u2019s House 60AAA
\n65 Division – Weakend Warriors 65AAA
\n70M Division – Over-the-Edge 70M
\n70AAA Division – D&K 70AAA
\n70AA Division – Franklin Loans 70AA
\n75 Division – So. Cal Warriors 75AAA<\/p>\n

Home Run Derby<\/span> – cancelled this year

\nAl Underwood was crowned home run king in the 60-64 division and
\nGuy Trisler in the 65-69 division.<\/p>\n

The Raffle
\n<\/span>50-50 raffle.<\/p>\n

100% of the net profit from the tournament goes to \u201c4 Paws 4 Patriots\u201d — $2,850<\/p>\n
